On September 11th I was in school. I had just walked into English and my English teacher was watching the news. When I saw the world trade center on fire I asked if some freak accident had happened but then, as I put my books down, I watched the second plane fly into the other building. My heart dropped and I didn't know if I was breathing anymore. As the day went on it got worse the Pentagon and the other plane that landed in a field were seen by the eyes of all of America. My most memorabe moment through this entire catastraphy was when I was watching the news at home and I think CNN showed a clip of a man who was singing a patriotic song(he was obviously a veteran), but when he completed the song he broke down to tears. I cried along with him long after the clip was over. I was so touched by this man and his patriotism!

It's hard to say anything about this tragedy. On Tuesday, the day of pain and suffer, we were come backing from school and we were so happy, but when we got to know our faces turned into sadness. On Wednesday in our school we commemorate the disaster with a minute of silence. We cancelled school disco. We are unhappy due to 11th September.

Before such an event happened i really never thought about how precious life is, I have never been a deeply religios person, but as i watched at home when the toweres fell my heart ache, husbands, wifes, children, grandchildren, generations of famniles lost. Yet I beleive to all those who are berived that your loved ones are never truely never dead because they remain in your memoreies, they now live in you. When you feel sad or angry they are standing with you, holding your hand, they will always be standing with you, they are not angry at how they left our world, they are simply at one with themselfs now, with God. They say, 'now as I lay you down to sleep, I pray the lord your soul to keep, and if I die before you wake, I pray the Lord your soul to take.'
