I first heard of what was happenings on September 11 when I was at school during my third hour class. I walked into the classroom just like a regular day and my teacher had the TV on, and the horrifying pictures were just coming in. I didn't think it was real, and once I knew it was, I just couldn't believe it was happening. Who ever thought that something like this would happen to the United States!

God Bless those who lost their lives that day, and God Bless America!

I was sitting at home with my mom. My friend called me on the phone to tell me that a plane had hit a World Trade Center Tower, no one knew why, some were saying it was an accident. I turned on CNN and got off the phone with her and told my mom about it. We both watched while CNN had witnesses tell us what happened. Still no one knew why or how. I remember even saying jokingly, someone was upset with the US and decided to hit one of our buidlings, I had no idea I would be right.

We were watching CNN when the cameras caught the second plane fly in and explode, CNN was interviewing someone over the phone when it happened, and they began yelling and screaming things into the phone.

I watched later as the buildings collapsed, I had to go to work (I work at a day care), I watched parents pick their kids up early and employees leave early. I called my mom, and told her not to leave the house. There were bomb threats all over the place.

I was so scared to be at work and not at home with my mom. By the time I got home from work, I don't recall how much information had been found, but I knew how grim things looked at the Pentagon and WTC. After that I was just numb.

God Bless America.

I am an Australian and was completing the last year of my high school education when America was attacked. It was late at night here in Australia when America was attacked in the early hours of the day.I had just gone to bed before the attacks started and I woke to find the world had suddenly changed. While getting ready for school my eyes were glued to the television and the horrible scenes that were before me. At school every conversation was about the terrorism attacks in America and our school lessons were filled with discussion about it. In many classes we were allowed to listen to the radio for the continuing news of the attacks and to President Bush's address to the world. At lunch time, those of us that had drove to school turned on the radios in the cars for all of the seniors to crowd around the car and listin to the heartbreaking events which were happening.
For days after the events the tv showed nothing else and lessons were changed to involve the terrorism in America. My school friends and I were greatly affected by the news of what was happening on the other side of the world as all of us here in Australia feel very connected to the American way of life which was under threat. The American way of life is similar to our way of life and therefor Australians everywhere prayed for the terror to stop. Our hearts go out to all who were affected.

On 9-11, I was asleep when my mother came in and told me that America was "at war." I just told her (because I was just 3/4th asleep) "that's great." When I went into the living room and saw what was going on, I just couldn't believe it. When the media was showing the different angle shots of the plane going into the south Tower, I just couldn't believe that some people are that mean. And when I saw the Towers go down, I felt sorry for the families of all the people in the buildings and on the planes and went down in the attacks. I'm glad to hear that the U.S. military is so close for getting the coward that is responsible for the attacks. My heart goes out to the families of all the victims at the WTC, Pentagon, and on the planes. May God have mercy on the souls who is responsible for the attacks especially Osama bin Laden.
