on september 11th I was in my language arts class when my teacher received a call on her cell phone. it was her husband who called to tell us to turn our television on that the towers had been struck by an airplane. At first i thought it was a small cessna single engine craft but later on the news i found out it was a commercial jet.then at that very moment while watching the news i saw the second plane hit.I knew at that moment this was extremely serious.the bell later rung and i left my class.while walking down the hall i saw a fammiliar art teacher he looked at me with eyes filled with tears and said the pentagon has just been hit.my exact words were "God my God". while in my math class the next class after language arts we were watching the news and that few moments i saw both towers collaps. i had to be exused from my class, and i remember trying to take i long walk and clear my mind.that day was horrid not just because it was the worst attack in americas history, but because at the 6th month anniversary of the attacks i found out my best freind died. God Bless America!

I was sitting at home with my mom. My friend called me on the phone to tell me that a plane had hit a World Trade Center Tower, no one knew why, some were saying it was an accident. I turned on CNN and got off the phone with her and told my mom about it. We both watched while CNN had witnesses tell us what happened. Still no one knew why or how. I remember even saying jokingly, someone was upset with the US and decided to hit one of our buidlings, I had no idea I would be right.

We were watching CNN when the cameras caught the second plane fly in and explode, CNN was interviewing someone over the phone when it happened, and they began yelling and screaming things into the phone.

I watched later as the buildings collapsed, I had to go to work (I work at a day care), I watched parents pick their kids up early and employees leave early. I called my mom, and told her not to leave the house. There were bomb threats all over the place.

I was so scared to be at work and not at home with my mom. By the time I got home from work, I don't recall how much information had been found, but I knew how grim things looked at the Pentagon and WTC. After that I was just numb.

God Bless America.

I was at work when the horrible events took place. I work with a spanish woman,I do not understand spanish and she only understands little english. That morning we were listening to a spanish station and she had this look come over her face and all I could understand was NeW York and and plane. Then she got really upset and started crying, worried I walked into another part of the plant looking for somebody who could tell me what she was saying. I found every one standing around a radio and listening. I then knew something really bad had happened. One of my friends looked at me with tears in her eyes and told me a commercial plane had been highjacked and smacked into the Trade Center. Cold chills were all over my body and all I wanted was to get to my son and hold him. We listened and did not believe our ears. I went back to my spanish friend and gave her a hug and told her we would be okay. My friend is as much as a American as I am and we shed our tears together that horrible September morning.

I was driving to get my hair cut when the radio announced that a small plane had apparently crashed into the first WTC tower. Upon arriving at the barber shop, I asked them to change the channel on the shop's TV (which was showing an old Western) so we could see what was happening.

Three minutes later, we saw the second plane hit. In an instant, we all knew that this wasn't an accident, and that we were going to be dealing with this for a very long time.
