I was getting my children off to school, and my husband was watching the news. He came to our bed room and told me that a plane had just hit on of the buildings of the World Trade Center. As we were watching the live coverage on CNN, we saw the second one fly into the second building. THAT was when my heart sank. I KNEW that we were being attacked. As we watched the next 3 hours unfold, we saw the Pentegon hit, and heard of the the other crash. It was like losing a part of myself. I felt fear for the world. Words cannot describe the shock. We are so far away from New York, and Washington, but it was as if it had happened at my front door, i guess in a way, it did.

I was in chemistry class when I found out. The t.v. was on, and I remember seeing the plane crash into the second tower. I couldn't believe it.

I live in California. I had the TV on; it was about quarter to 6. I had been vaguely listening to it when the voices became very serious and started talking not in their prepared way but in the it's happening right now tone. I watched the footage in horror as the 2nd plane hit. When the reports came in of the attack on Washington, my only thought was "It's the end of the world."

On september 11th, when the terrible disaster happened, I was at home, sleeping. Actually, when the first reports appeared on CNN, I was closing my eyes, it didn't interested me at first, because I didn't thought it was the World Trade Center on fire, and I thought it was "only" a small fire. I say "only" because as you know, here in Israel we have lots of terror attacks every day, and a burning building in NY seemed to me as a regular thing.
About an hour later, I woke up and my mother told that the first building of the "Twins" had collapsed. I was definitely shocked...

Where was I? First of all I did not know about the attack when I saw it in the morning news when my dad turn on the t.v. And I felt sorry for those who died in the biulding and also I felt sorry for the families who lost their love ones. But I'll pray for those who are sad or unhappy of what happen. I want to thank the fire fighter for helping...and for those who donated money.
GOD BLESS AMERICA MY HOME SWEET HOME!
Thank you
