I had just gotten to work at a jail I work at, and while I waited for “roll call” I could see many fellow Officers watching the television intently, I looked up and watched “live” as fire was coming from one of the Trade center towers, everyone was saying a plane had hit the building but I could not figure how a plane could be so off line on such as beautiful day. While we all speculated as to what must have happened the announcer became frantic as a plane came from the distance and struck the second tower… at this point I knew we were at war. As I looked around I watched fellow Officers Officer’s and civilian staff in total shock.
After “roll call” we all went to work, but I found every opportunity to find a TV to see what was happening, later when I heard one or more of the towers had fallen I could only say ”My God… they’re filling heaven”

It was my day off. My wife came and woke me, yelling that the WTC had been bombed. I flipped the TV on and saw what was happening. Saw what was happening to the WTC, and to the Pentagon. I sat on the end of the bed, holding my 16 month old baby girl close to me. I was horrofied. I kept thinking, is this the world I am raising my daughter in? I drew my flag to half staff. I cried. I was nervous. I was scared. I was never more proud to be an American. I saw hero's everywhere.

I am steamed!
IF I HAD TWO CHILDREN
If I had a child that Struck another child because he was Realy jelous, I would teach the one who was getting smacked, that the other had nothing
and never to boast, or flaught what he had,that which made the other feel that way
I would put that child into the shoes of the other child so that he would understand where this child was coming from.
Or else,....he would have it no more, as well,.... I would take that Item away & perhaps Later, after I spoken with the child that did the smacking.
I would teach the Other child, the harm his behavior will get him somewhare else,.... Down the road of life, and Explain that If he too,
would try to gain that Item, through the use of good efforts and behavior,...... he would achieve having it, as well as the other child.
I would do all in my power and means to make this happen,for this child.
But here now, If a Child was already taught and had every oportunity to do good and did not, and smacked this child out of Just wanting to get his point accross,.... I would Smack him Quicky on the Butt and hard, and again in my loving voice, expain, why he got this spanking, he would be told that he needs to explain to me, why, he did it after he was told to opolizise, to the injured.
Forced to exlian, If he could not,...... I would find a creative child psycologist, Friend, Preist, or Doctor, to see if the child had other hostilities or Problems.
Hopefully this can resolve the problem.
Now after I learn that the Child just did it because it felt like it, and that was all...He would be Grounded untill he could see that it was wrong.
ONLY AFTER HE CONFESED IT WAS WRONG, HE WOULD STILL REMAIN GROUNDED, So that he had time to never, EVER, Forget, the Lesson he had just Learned.
Now then,, If He Did it AGAIN.......He would either be in a reformaitory School, Or a hospital, or on Medication, or in jail!
Now , if Osama and the Muslems think that it is ok,...... and spend Hours attempting to Justifiy something obviosly Wrong, then They were in the wrong to begin with.
Again, He is a Grown man,.... And reponsible for his actions.
He has killed someone, He has KILLED MANY ALREADY, AND THERE would be Way I would allow more killed, If it ment giving up all that I had, to save my Freedoms of Choice, or let Other's who thought this was ok, without putting my 2 centsworth, in.
If he were not punshed, MORE will DIE IF HE DIDN'T CORRECT PUBLICALY, AND EVERYWHERE, THAT HE WAS WRONG, he would die imedately.AFTER HE DID ADMITT, (hAA-hAA)Be it Prison with NO VISITORS AT ALL
OR ANYWHERE ON THIS PLANTET EARTH,I still would lock him up and never again ever allow him to see anopther human being ever,Let him pee in a hole and let him wonder what the weather is like outside, feed him through a Door Never speaking about him to anyone ever and never speak With or to hiom again.
Forgit he is there and tel no one where he is No matter what may happen.
If there was hrricane comming Then shoot him dead before it comes Never take the chance he will ever get loose again ever.....Rid the air that he breaths once and for all He dosent deserve it I dont care who he knows or haow rich he is.
If he dubble crossesses us again, which he already has, I would kill them all FOR, They Know the difference between right & Wrong!
They had already been taught, Surley this will teach him now,..... his and their wrongs were their final Choice, And IT WILL, Absolutly NOT be tolorated!
If WE let him off IN ANY WAY,

I am an American, native New Yorker, living in Denmark, married to a Dane. We have two toddlers, ages 3-1/2 and 16 mos.
On Sept. 11 we were on vacation on the Greek Island of Kos. Our original plan had been to visit Tunisia. We were interested in seeing Carthage and other archeological and ancient sites. However, we decided not to go after a friend who had just returned from Egypt told us that more than once she had been asked by Egyptians her opinion on the Israel/Palestian situation. She is American. She never felt threatened, but was uncomfortable with the questions. I too was uncomfortable by her experience. I know Egyptians and would not have imagined perfect strangers to ask her anything of that nature.
Thereby my husband and I decided to not visit Tunisia. We were concerned that we might be attacked on the streets because I was an American, and because anti-American sentiment in the Muslim world is at an all time high.
So, off we went to the Greek island of Kos. On Sept. 11 we were returning to our hotel when we stopped at a local bakery. The baker had a television in a room adjacent to his counter. He asked me if I were American.
He told me that a small plane had just crashed into the WTC. We watched his television. He translated the Greek words into English. But no words were really needed. The pictures of the tower burning were enough. I could not imagine that a plane had accidentally flown into the Tower. I knew that planes were not allowed into the air space around the towers. I worried that a terrorist had struck the tower.
During the 5 minute walk from the bakery back to our hotel the other plane had hit the second tower. I really started to panic for now it was certain that there had been an attack. When the pentagon was hit I became sick to my stomach and full of panic.
There seemed no doubt that a war against America had begun. That my homeland was being ripped apart. That I needed to be home too. That I was too far away to help. Although I have not lived in New York for many years, it is still home and being there seemed to be the most important thing at the time.
For the next couple of days we were glued to the television at the hotel. We managed to reach friends in New York that might have been in the towers. Everyone was fine.
My husband and I were ever so grateful that we had decided not to go to Tunisia. We contemplated how horrible it would have been for us to have been somewhere where people were expressing their happiness at what had happened.
It was really good to get home to Denmark.
