I was very shocked when I saw what was happening on tv. I was home sick with broncitus, and my mom came running in all upset and crying( she is a very emotional person with everything but, in this case I can understand)telling me what had and was happening. Then after she told me what had happened I changed the tv to CNN and watched it for a very long time. I am now very mad that someone was so cruel and unsinsitive, and that they killed many Americans, and parents of children who needed them.

On September 11, 2001 I was in the Ayer Middle School technology class, completing my work, when my teacher told us that a plane hit the pentagon. Like ten minutes before we were informed about the pentagon, one of my fellow classmates (class clown) told many of us that 2 planes hit the Twin Towers in New York City, and many of us thought that he was joking, others, like me knew that for once he was serious and just sat there stunned. To this day, on September 11, 2002, I am still schocked that this could have happened to the United States.

A couple nights later, I was in my small town, and we held a candle light visual for all of those who lost loved ones, and all the brave souls who tried to help the ones that we lost.

I try now, not to joke about suicide bombings and things that have happened in the middle east. It has affected my family greatly, and I grieve for all whom this is a day for a death in the family.

GOD BLESS AMERICA- ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL

I found out in the last class of school no one had told me. I had heard people talking about some planes hitting some building but I thought they were talking about a movie or something. When I found out I cryed for the rst of the day and while I walked home. When I got home, that night my family cryed and prayed together for the victims and their familys. I think though all this my faith in God has only gotton stronger and has made my family closer together. I still pray to the victims familys. God Bless America.

When I first found out about Sept.11 i was in my school's cafetieria. My friend came over and told my table that some people crashed a plane into the World Trade Center to steal some money, she wasn't sure about what exactly happened. So i sort of heard what happened but i didnt hear how serious it was until there was an announcment over the PA system by our principal. When i got home i rushed off the bus and ran to turn on the TV and saw all of those people and i just broke down in tears. my parents came home early that day and talked to me and my brothers about what happened.

I was at home, getting ready to leave for my 10:30 Spanish class. I had heard a brief report on the radio about a plane out of Logan that had crashed, but I just assumed it was an accident - engine failue, that the plane had crashed into the ocean. Terrorism certainly hadn't occured to me. As I was heading out the door, my aunt called from New York City, wanting to know where my father was. Until she called, I had completely forgotten that he had a conference in the World Trade Center that week. I absolutely could not remember what day he had said he would be there. My aunt then had to hang up, because her building was being evactuated. I immediatly called my dad's office, and got his voicemail. Same thing when I tried to call his cell phone. I just remember crying at that point. I was literally hysterical, on the ground sobbing. I was like that until my mom came home about an hour later. She told me that my dad's conference had actually been scheduled for Thursday. He called a few minutes after that. He had been down in the office gym, watching the coverage. I couldn't even talk to him on the phone, I was crying so hard.
