I was at work, when a friend of mine called about his work schedule that day. He called back two seconds later and told me a plane hit the World Trade Center. I know right then it was terrorism. Planes have been flying over New York for years, there was no way this was an accident. We were on the phone through the second plane hitting the second tower. I remember worrying about college friends that lived and worked in New York. And then the Pentagon was hit, and I was worrying about a cousin that worked there. And when the plane went down in Pennsylvania, I was worrying about friends there. It was the worst day of my life. A day that I never thought I'd see, and when it happened I felt like it would never end.

In Memory of September 11, 2001
“The Eagle Will Soar Again”

A black void, emptiness,
as wings of demons descend,
brittle glass shatters innocence
now, hidden concealed revenge.
An eagle in flight sailing
like a mighty god of the sky
a serpent within its talons
the struggle between dark and light.
A Nation's blood splattered, red
pain slices at every soul,
sorrow transcends our reality
amongst the soot and the smoke.
Brothers and Sisters that traveled
into The Valley of Death
may be physically lost, but
their memories are now etched
from the heart of one
into the hearts of two
into the hearts of everyone,
America, God Bless you.
A flag wavers in the breeze,
yet erect like the Rugged Cross
its stars the eyes of this night
crying for a Nation's loss.
White our stolen purity,
Red our mighty valor,
Blue our vigilant Chief
watching the eagle soar.
Wounded the godlike eagle
attempts to once again fly
struggling to reach the Heavens
through the darkness of this night
towards an everlasting communion
a eulogy in red, white, and blue
a spiritual state of unity
America, God Bless you.

I was 9 months pregnant. I was sleeping on a couch next to my mom. I dont know what time it was but i turned over and my mom said " a bomb went off at the world trade center" I looked at the TV and said. " no mom it looks as if a Plane hit it" Then seconds later a second one. I poped up and could not believe my eyes. I sat there feeling my baby move in my stomache and i swear i never felt so scared. I stayed up all night glued to the Tv and internet.

I would like to ad for all those people that can justify what happened on Sept that i will pray for you. For you need it.

I was working at a television station on September 11th, 2001. I was watching the tragedy unfold, when I saw the second plane hit the south tower of the World Trade Center. I will never forget the feeling of armegeddon, and it just seemed like the whole country was under attack. I drove home early that day, and cried the whole way. I listned to the radio, and they talked about more planes, and possible targets. I couldn't believe the chaos our country faced. God bless the victims, firefighters, police officers, ems squads, and others who were killed on September 11th. And, I hope the hijackers are burning in hell right now, for the way they killed so many Americans. We will never forget, and justice will prevail. God Bless America.

September 11 2001. I remember that day I was sitting in class when I heard the news. I remember sitting at my desk in total shock, seeing those images on tv was heart breaking. I remember just siting there crying not knowing what might happen next. That day will be remembered till the end of time every american will remember exactly where they were and what they were doing. My heart goes out to all the people who lost a loved on that day, they will always be remember. Now after the attacks we need to trust God even more for he is with us every day. God bless America!!!
