I was in my car listening to "Howard Stern".I had dropped my daughter off at school and was on my way home. When I watched everything on TV unfold I was just sick with saddness, fear, hatetred and this horrible feeling of being powerless.By 11:30 am.I had all three of my children close by.It was very hard trying to explain something I did not understand myself. Now as some time has past, our fears are gone and our anger has turned into pure "PATRIOTISM".Every evening before I sleep I think of all that was lost that day and it makes me realize over and over how much my world and every thing and everyone arond me means to me,and how I do appreciate my every waking moment.

I THINK WHOEVER THOUGHT OF MAKING THIS SITE IS A GENIUS. I HAVE 3 CHILDREN AND THINK IT IS GREAT TO HAVE A PLACE TO GO TO REVIEW WHAT HAPPENED ON THE HORRIBLE DAY.

I HAPPENED TO BE ON AN AIRPLANE ON THAT HORRIBLE TUESDAY. I HAD JUST TAKEN OFF AFTER THE SECOND (2nd) PLANE HIT THE TWIN TOWERS. WE WERE THEN TOLD WE HAD TO BE GROUNDED PER THE FAA. WE HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT WAS GOING ON UNTIL WE REACHED THE AIRPORT IN GREENSBORO, NC INSTEAD OF ORLANDO, FL WHERE WE WERE HEADING. I JUST WONDERED ABOUT MY FAMILY AS I WAS TRAVELING ON BUSINESS WITH ABOUT 7 CO-WORKERS. I JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I SEEN THE TRAGEDY ON A TV A THE AIRPORT. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY AS LONG AS I LIVE. WONDERING IF I WOULD EVER SEE MY HUSBAND AND 3 CHILDREN OR THE REST OF MY FAMILY. I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THOSE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO LOST LOVED ONES. I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO FORGET THE SEPTEMBER DAY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!

I was sitting in history class about 9:45 and my history teacher was called out by the principal. He came back in the room and said that the world trade center has been hit...and I thought to myself who would want to do that. I then found out that it was those Talibines. I was sooo sad to hear about the tragedy and I was shook up because it already was a tragic month my grandfather passed away. I am 15 but I serioulsy hope that something like this will never occur again.

It was about 9:45 am on 9/11 and I had just gotten out of the shower. I didn't have class till 1 pm but I got up early to get some homework done. I don't normally watch television when I wake up, let alone the news. But I decided that morning to turn on the television partly to see if anything exciting was happening this day and partly to put off my homework just a little bit longer. I turned on the television, around the time the second plane hit. Like many others I'm sure, I was in complete disbelief when the first tower collapsed. I kept telling myself that once the smoke cleared we'd see it was only the top few floors that collapsed. Needless to say, I didn't get any homework done that day.

The only reason I was even awake was because I had a job interview at 10 that morning.
I was watching the Today show and one of the hosts was talking to a woman on a cell phone as she saw the second plane hit the tower.

I still had to go to the interview though. It was interesting. Everyone in the building was in one of the conference rooms watching the news. I did two brief interviews and was essentially given the job on the spot. No one wanted to play the normal interview games. We weren't in the mood. I was asked about my qualifications, based on my resume. Then asked if I wanted the job.

All very sureal
