Dear Viewers,
My name is Brielle DeMatteo and I live in Buckingham County, Virginia. I am in the seventh grade at Buckingham County Middle School.
On September 11, 2001, I was in my second period class, P.E., when the attacks occured. Suddenly, my coach came outside telling us that the World Trade Center had just been destroyed by a high-jacked plane.
At that moment I felt like time just froze. I asked my coach if he was joking and he wasn't. I thought we had a very much loved country and that no one would ever think of doing such a paralyzing thing to our nation. Then, I realized I was terribly wrong.
We watched the news all day long and then some. For the next couple of days, we mourned over the attacks and thought about all the people who helped with the attacks as well as those who died trying.
I would like to say thank you to all the families who's members fought and helped. I also sincerely apologize for those who's lives were taken and I hope they are in a much better place right now.
I know that we might have gotten lives taken as well as our nation's most important buildings, but our pride and love for another will not and cannot be destroyed.

"I can do all things in Christ who strenghtens me." Phillipians 4:13

Justice will prevail in the end. Take care and GOD bless!!!

Where was I on 911? I was at school. During one of my classes someone called on the intercom, they started talking about what happened. I was like what kind of bull is this. But when I went home that day I watched as the twin towers crumbled. Now a year later I know that we will rebuild the twin towers and not let it happen again. I am so sorry that this happened and I wish that this was false but I know that we have become the alpha nation. We must pray for the sick and poor but morely that this nation dosen't fall again.

When I found out about the world trade center I was really scared. I was in coach class he and told me about it. At first I didn't know what it ment. But now I really undestand. It ment that we are american and I 'm proud to be a american. A year ago I really felt bad about. But now I love my counrty. My dad looking at the news wondering if we have to go to war. The more they talk about it hurts me to know that cruel people are still in the world to do that to our country.
